My father, David Watts, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's early stage dementia in September 2025.

Whilst I am pleased to share that, at the age of 83, he is physically well and his long term memory is excellent, the disease has severely impacted his short term memory.

I am fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society to help raise awareness of this disease and to improve the support that is offered to families following the diagnosis as I believe that there is still a long way to go with this.
