About us
On May 2nd 2022 Kristie and I will be taking part in the Vitality 10k to raise money for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, in memory of our dad Richard Moriarty who sadly lost his battle with cancer in February of this year.

I know that I only recently participated in the 4x4x48 challenge and I promise that this is my last fundraising effort this year, and any donations would be massively appreciated by myself and Kristie.

About the Charity
Dr Strickland founded our Centre in 1985 with one aim - the early, accurate diagnosis of cancer and other serious diseases, which saves lives. By remaining at the forefront of scanning technology, using the skills of world renowned consultants and highly trained staff, we've consistently achieved this aim. But we need your help to fund new scanners, costing upwards of £1 million. As an independent medical charity, we receive no government funding and rely on donations from our supporters to fund life-changing medical research and ensure patients have access to leading-edge scanning technology and high-quality care. Last year we carried out almost 15,000 scans and with your help we can continue helping patients.
