Growing up sailing dinghies on Port Phillip Bay in Australia I had always dreamt of sailing across the world's Oceans . I now have an opportunity to do just that and sail across all of them as part  of a race for amateur sailors on 11 identical 70 ft yachts. I will be out of my comfort zone being out of sight of land ,big seas ,  living on a 45 degree angle , not showering for days! My fear of heights is partly conquered having been hoisted to the masttop 23 metres above the water . 

I am part of team "Visit Sanya" with skipper Seumus Kellock . We will leave from London on 1st September . You can follow the race progress at https://www.clipperroundtheworld.com/race/standings and intermittently I will update the blog at www.thewhitehouses.org.

This is my adventure of a lifetime and as part of that I hope you can assist me to  raise money for the Clipper Race official Charity UNICEF.
