Story

Two injured Veterans Rick and Mark will be canoeing the Cheshire ring canal (approx 97 miles). This will be a difficult physical challenge for two determined men.

Mark who has defied the odds to walk again after being shot in the neck in Afghanistan in May 2010 has teamed up with Rick, a double amputee himself after being injured by an IED blast in the same month as Mark, during the same tour whilst they both served with the Duke of Lancaster Regiment in the Helmand province. The pair are going to conquer the distance over 5 days however expect it to be quicker. They both want to raise money and awareness for The Soldiers Charity and are thankful for the support given to them in the past.

We appreciate its been a difficult year but if you can spare anything to donate we would be extremely grateful. For those who can't donate, please spread the word and share away.
