Story

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Last year, we tragically lost our superhero Rickey Singh Flora after he had Invasive Strep A which caused Sepsis. Sepsis took my brother. After Rickey passed, it became evident that many of you, like us, have either been impacted by Sepsis or had no idea about it.

Sepsis kills more people in the UK a year then breast, bowl and prostate cancer combined, so why aren't we talking about it? Why don't we know enough about it?

The UK Sepsis Trust have been beyond amazing in the support they have continued to provide us as a family. In support of them, I am aiming to raise money for the trust to support their on going efforts and pass the support we have benefited from forward.

It will start with the UK Sepsis Savvy Walk on the 25th March 2023 in London. This is now complete. I will continue my campaign to raise awareness, appreciate your help along the way.

I endeavour to support the trust further this year in effort to achieve the target goal and raise awareness. Look out for updates.

Family, friends, please donate what you can afford, times are hard, any contribution is appreciated!

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
