Somehow I have been roped into running the Great Newham Run on July 19th, and at the same time raise funds for this fantastic cause. To many of you, a 10k run might seem like a walk in the park, but considering only a few weeks ago I would have broken into a sweat simply looking at a treadmill, to me, this truly is a challenge. All being well, I will be crossing the line where dreams of legends were fulfilled, and the likes of Ennis, Farah and Bolt were crowned Olympic champions in the London 2012 Olympic Stadium.

Most of you will know the work of my chosen charity, however for those who don't, Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. One in three of us will get cancer. Two million of us are living with it. We are all affected by cancer. We can all help. Please donate what you can, and thank you. I will happily start things off.
