Hi everyone. So I have decided in my great wisdom to attempt not only the Belfast City Marathon next month but the Great North Run in September. I was all set to start training in January but on the first day I broke my ankle hence it’s taken me till now to persuade myself to go for it. 

The decision was made a lot easier knowing what and who I will be running for - Stevie Leyland who tragically lost his life to Asthma in 2017 aged just 33.

1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute. I'm running the Belfast City Marathon and The Great North Run for Asthma + Lung UK. They are the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. 

It would mean so much if you could spare a few pounds or support for this great cause and ensure no family has to experience the profound effect of loosing a loved one to Asthma.
