My names Ricky Furgusson, I joined the Army in 2001, served in 2RGJ & 4RIFLES. In 2010 while in Afghanistan I stepped on an IED and lost both legs above the knee, 5 fingers and left eye. On 6th April Me and other Injured Soldiers/Amputees from the Military & Blue Light will be joining The Pilgrim Bandits Charity and as a team we'll be trekking up to Mount Everest Base Camp 🏔

We'll also be ice-climbing and negotiating the 'Kumbu Ice fall' on route to camp 1.

The Charity will also be Supporting 'Hari Budha Magar' to break a World Record Attempt to be the first Double Amputee to summit Mount Everest on X3 Prosthetic Legs. and in no dout with his many years of experience, determination and support he will complete his dream.
