On the 7th May at 5am we will set off on a combined 450km virtual cycle from London to Newcastle in aid of Age UK. With an expected journey time of 12 continuous hours, we will be peddling the miles to raise much needed money for this incredible charity. We would love and appreciate your support on this home-cycle as we RIDE 4 CARE, and welcome you to join in on our schedule for the day (to be shared in due course).

Age UK are seeing an unprecedented demand for their services and this is only expected to grow over the coming weeks and months. The coronavirus has impacted all of our lives, but it is an especially challenging time for the elderly and their loved ones.

So how will the money raised  help?

£10 could enable a local Age UK to deliver services within communities to isolated older people such as vital food supplies, prescriptions and much more

£20 could pay for two weekly befriending calls to self-isolated older people who have no one to turn to, offering much needed comfort and reassurance during these deeply worrying times.

£50 could answer urgent calls to our advice line from vulnerable older people needing information and support on how to cope during this crisis and for many who are not online or facing this emergency alone, the advice line may be all that they have to rely on
