Yemen is on the brink of extinction.

As many of you are aware, the people of Yemen are currently experiencing the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. A beautiful country devastated by war, famine, cholera and droughts. Covid-19 is currently making the situation worse as the conflict and resulting crisis continues to tear up the country. 

-24 million people are in urgent need. 

-Over a million cases of cholera; of them 25% children.

-50% of the population is on the brink of starvation 

I will be doing a 50km bike ride to raise funds to support Crisis Aid provide relief. This is almost double the distance of my longest ride to date. 

Allah says in an authentic Hadeeth Qudsi-  

“Oh son of Adam, I asked you to for something to drink and you did not give it to me. He will say: O Lord, how should I give You to drink when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: My servant So-and-so asked you to give him something to drink and you did not give it to him. Had you given him to drink you would have surely found that with Me. [Muslim]
