Mehmet aged 34, a local business owner of ambiance bar, Lytham, made the decision to ride from Lytham to Monaco to raise funds for the RNLI.
Mehmet grew up on the south west coast of Turkey, has a keen interest in watersports. Since moving to the UK in 2006 he has enjoyed being a part of the local kitesurfing community. Mehmet feels it is a vital service within our local seaside community and the dedicated volunteers rely on donation and money from fund raising, to enable them save lives.
The trip is being sponsored by local businesses including North West Honda Blackpool, Grey Goose & Excel Fostering,
The event itself will include a promotional stand for RNLI, a "Just Giving" page station set up and ready to go to accept donations, complimentary champagne, canapes, live music, a display of the latest model range of Honda motorcycles and an appearance from Adam and Eve.
