Ride And Raise to Tackle Knife Crime for The Ben Kinsella Trust · 4 November 2018

The Ben Kinsella Trust is an educational charity set up following the tragic murder of Ben aged 16 in 2008. Our mission is to use the true and powerful story of Ben Kinsella to educate young people about the consequences of choices, so they stay safe and away from crime.

Story

On Sunday 17th March we will embark on Ride And Raise to Tackle Knife Crime for The Ben Kinsella Trust.

The day will comprise of x4 45 minute spin rides with Ride And Raise leading instructors.

Ten years ago, 16 year old Ben Kinsella was stabbed to death, in a horrific act of senseless violence in Islington, London.  The Ben Kinsella Trust was set up by his sister and former Eastenders actress Brooke Kinsella who was awarded an MBE in 2011 for her anti-knife campaigning efforts. They have opened an exhibition space in Islington with 5 interactive rooms to educate children from Year 5 onwards about the consequences of knife crime, how to make safe decisions and good friends, the realities of prison life and how the law is applied to knife crime cases.

Ride And Raise want to support The Ben Kinsella Trust reach more people with this powerful exhibition.  Our aim is to raise funds and increase awareness for both children and adults by making the exhibition available nationwide.
