I am Carrick, a 16 Year Old, avid rugby player and cyclist. Having seen the effect of MND on Doddie Weir and hearing the personal testimony of a close friend who's family was effected by MND I want to do something to help them.

MND, is an incurable disease that leaves people paralysed and unable to talk and interact with the world in front of their eyes. This sort of struggle is something I struggle to comprehend even when seeing and hearing of it. 

I therefore aim to raise money to help in the fight against MND and help My Name'5 Doddie Foundation continue in their work. The search for a cure goes on and if I can play any part in this then I will be happy, however, it is more important that people don't feel debilitated by the disease and the foundations work helps this.

I have no real personal connection, but seeing the effect of the disease and knowing how badly you can be effected I felt it only right to help.
