Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Ok so I thought I better update from the generic blurb that is generated

WHAT & WHEN am I doing, on Saturday the 23rd of June 2018 I will be riding the entire first stage of the Tour De France, 2 weeks before the pro peleton sets off this is 195km or 121 miles for us in good old blighty. However I am not just going to do the 195km no way am I taking the distance to 195km and not rounding up to 200km so before the official start I will do the extra 5km (more like 10km can never trust Garmin!) to push me over the 200km / 125 miles.

WHY am I doing this. Well to raise vital money for Prostate Cancer UK, I've set a figure of £1000 but with your help we can hopefully smash that out of the park as, Prostate Cancer is the biggest form of cancer in males from which a male dies on average every 45 mins, quite scary, statistics say that it will affect 1 - 8 males.

I'm putting my fat old carcass through the physical punishment, all i'm asking you to do is sponsor - donate a couple of quid for this great cause and hopefully raise awareness for something that can be treated if caught early.
