Ride4Gaffer

We will be cycling from Adrian's home county of Somerset, taking in the home of his beloved Aston Villa and finishing up Nottingham. This will be taking place on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 June.
The plan for Day 1 is to cycle c. 105 miles from Somerset to Gloucester, travelling via the picturesque and somewhat hilly Cheddar Gorge before completing the trip to Birmingham via train. Day 2 will then start from the hallowed turf of Villa Park, cycling a route of between 60 and 70 miles to finish up in Nottingham. Following the cycling it is the intention to ensure that everyone is fully rehydrated and refuelled with a few drinks and food. This will likely be somewhere in/near town so it is easy enough for everybody to be able to attend whether they have cycled or not.
Whilst we will provide further updates in due course when locations/finer details have been fine-tuned we wanted to let everyone know the dates such that if anybody wants to join for some or all of the activities you would of course be more than welcome. Further if people would like to just cycle one of the days then they would be more than welcome to do so, equally even if cycling isn’t your thing then please feel free to come down for a drink or two in the afternoon/evening.
We also want to take the opportunity to try and raise some further funds for both MIND and Child Bereavement UK (the two charities selected by Laura). Our page here has been set up for mind and we will be taking donations on the day that will go towards the Child Bereavement Fund.
