Welcome to the Ride 4 Heroes website. The idea and the drive behind this trip is to raise money for the Poppy Factory. The Poppy Factory support wounded, injured and sick veterans to find meaningful employment. The Poppy Factory is a small but highly dedicated team.

With the on-going exit from Afghanistan large numbers of service personal are finding themselves entering a tough job market. It is so important that we do not forget the needs of those veterans who have served in past conflicts such as the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Rwanda, the Balkan conflict and Iraq.

The purpose of the ride is twofold; to raise funds for the Poppy Factory, but also, to raise awareness of the help that veterans can receive from the Poppy Factory, Remploy and other organisations that are mentioned at the end.
