Thanks for taking the time to visit our ‘JustGiving’  page. After LEJOG in 2017 &  LeFrog in 2019 we were looking for a new challenge. So last year we came up with the idea of riding from Calais to the Baltic Sea, but had to postpone it due to Covid.

However we are now doing it this year with a slight tweak. We will be riding from Calais to the Danish Border, taking in 5 Countries (France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Denmark), in 9 Days (22nd - 30th July), averaging 65 miles per day, and both Nick and I turned 65 earlier this year!  The total mileage should be just under 600 miles, so similar to the ride through France, but much flatter as we both have a dodgy knee and are 3 years older!! 

We realise that in current times things are very tough for most people, but Charities have also suffered much during the pandemic (like most businesses and individuals). We will as usual be grateful for any support no matter how small for what is still a very worthwhile cause.

Nick and I, along with Stuart (who will be supporting us driving Nick’s truck for the whole trip once again) will be paying all our own costs for the trip (ferry, fuel, B&Bs / hotels, and food & drink etc) so all the money raised will go to PCRF.

For those of you who may not be aware, this year is the 10th Anniversary of Marian passing away with Pancreatic cancer, and so far over that period our wider family and many many friends have raised a total of almost £45000 for PCRF.  It would be amazing if we could reach £50,000 this year, in memory of Marian. 

We are also remembering Ruth Edwards (Nick’s Mother-in-Law) who also passed away from Pancreatic Cancer around the same time as Marian.

We realise this is a big ask, but with the Annual Charity Golf Day in September (which usually raises a few hundred pounds) we could do it if we can raise around £4500 for this ride. We have therefore set this as an ambitious target, but will be grateful with whatever the final total is.

Please help us to raise some much needed funds for this excellent charity which is dear to both our hearts.
