Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. In June 2013 we cycled from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.

We were riding in memory of our friends Matthew Gregg and David Giles -  who both tragically passed away after suffering from brain tumours.

Although we couldn't cure Matt and Dave we wanted to do something proactive to help. The ride took us 10 days and despite a great deal of training it was still a massive challenge.

We sucsessfully completed the ride on the 22nd of June after riding over 900 miles.  We have raised a truely amazing amount of money, which really will make a difference, so thank you to everyone who has donated and supported us along the way.

The charity aim to raise funds for research into the prevention and treatment of brain tumours, as well as ultimately finding a cure.

The Team - Tom Wass, Vince Brown, Ben Brown, Dan Dixon, Kev Bawden, Trev Bawden, Dean Jeffers & Steve Pyman.

Thankyou!
