The Drinks Trust is the charity dedicated to the drinks and hospitality workforce. It strives to empower our people through services designed to assist financially, restore well-being and develop skills, and to do so with compassion and respect.

Story

The Benevolent Bike Ride originated when Conviviality's  Group Wine Buying Director Andrew Shaw and Hatch Manfield's Wine Director Philip Tuck MW decided to put together a team of peloton in memory of Dan Townsend who sadly passed away in March 2017.

The challenge will see the riders ride 64.1 miles from Ridgeview Wine Estate, nestled at the foot of South Downs, ride towards London, via Leith Hill and Box Hill in Surrey, before reaching Treasury Wine Estates' HQ in Twickenham.

The team members are hoping to raise £10,000 for the charity Dan supported through his invaluable service as Trustee and past Chairman.
