Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

I'm cycling the RideLondon-Essex 100 for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

I first did this event in 2012 which gave me the love for bunch riding/racing and led me on a path which in 2021 resulted in me racing the Tour of Britain as a professional rider. In that time, Prostate Cancer started to affect my life after my dad was diagnosed. He fortunately recovered, but with the family history I expect it will be a diagnosis that I receive in the future.

So, having not raced since 2021 due to illness, I'm now building up again to perform in this event and raise as much money as I can for PCUK.

Thank you for reading and for any support offered to this great cause.
