I'm cycling the RideLondon-Essex 100 for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK.

My father died of this cancer over 27 years ago at a time when prostate cancer treatments were relatively primitive. I was recently diagnosed with this cancer and have had surgery to remove my prostate. The treatment of prostate cancer has advanced spectacularly in recent years due to the incredible advances in medical research. This research is costly.
