Ride to Remember Raffle · 20 October 2014

A world class international Memorial & Interpretation Centre telling the collective story of Bomber Command, from all perspectives. Serves as a point for recognition, remembrance and reconciliation for those who served, supported and suffered during WW2.

We are organising a raffle to raise money towards our Ride to Remember cycling challenge. 365 miles in 4 days in support of the International Bomber Command Centre.

Each  £1 donation will buy you one virtual raffle ticket toward a prize.


When you donate, please remember the following:

1. DO NOT tick the box for gift aid. This cannot be claimed as a prize could be won.

2. Leave your name and a contact email so we can contact you if you win. This can be done on the message section whilst donating or alternatively, a secure email address has been set up. Email your name donation amount and contact details to ridetoremember@hotmail.com
 

The results of the raffle will be announced on the BBMF Facebook and Twitter pages on the 20 October.

- A day at the flight helping the engineers fix/clean the aircraft.

- A day at the flight with Stephen, our Facebook photographer, with inside the barriers access to the aircraft.

- A commemorative box containing a bottle of Lancaster beer and a pint glass, signed by crew of VERA and Thumper.

- The map used to fly down Derwent reservoir by the two Lancaster's, signed by both crews.

- The map used to fly to Arnhem, over Guy Gibson's grave and over the 70th commemorations in the Dakota.

- A Crystal impregnated with two Lancaster bombers, made to commemorate the visit by VERA.

- A Haynes manual for the Lancaster signed by co author Paul Blackah, some of the aircrew and engineers from both Lancaster's.

- A book of BBMF in photo's signed by engineers and aircrew.

- A teddy bear flown in Thumper on the sortie escorting VERA from Coningsby on her departing journey.

- A print of a 617 Sqn Lancaster signed by Johnny Johnson DFM an Mary Stropes-Roe (Wallis).

Additional prizes include baseball caps and prints.
