Cambridge Half Marathon 2014 · 9 March 2014 ·
We’re running the Cambridge Half Marathon Relay Race for Ridley Hall!
We owe Ridley a lot. Philip is a student here, and Jason is on staff. We started running together last year and thought we could up our game a bit with a real race. And while we’re at it, we can support a great cause!
Ridley forms Christian leaders for the 21st century. Most of its students go on to be Church of England vicars, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in cities, towns, and villages across this country … and across the world. The College is in the business of forming good vicars that resource the Church for God’s future.
We’re running to support Ridley’s Annual Fund, which supports three themes in Ridley’s life:
*Ridley Fellowship – supports the ongoing life of the community. It helps pay for the annual Prayer Weekend, the Common Room space, and we hope it might even provide a table tennis table this year!
*Ridley Fabric – focuses on our historic buildings and grounds. It supports like replacing and improving the college’s lighting, upgrading our windows, and adding some part-time professional help to our volunteer gardener’s work.
*Ridley Future – equips the college with modern technology, like our new website, wireless internet installation, and the extension and enhancement of audio-visual capabilities in seminar rooms and the chapel.
There are TWO WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT
*Give – We want to raise £500 towards Ridley’s ongoing life
*Run – There are still spots open for the relay race. Why don’t you join us, and set up a JustGiving page of your own for Ridley?
