Story
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2011 I ran 54 marathons for charity.
In 2012 another 56 marathons, all for charity.
In 2013 I'm planning something a bit different and so far have taken on the Marathon Des Sables, in April, labelled as the 'toughest footrace on earth' where I finished 39th out of 1024 competitors. Three weeks later and I managed a victory in the Brathay 10 in 10, an event which sees a limited number of individuals take on 10 marathons in 10 consecutive days.
In October 2013 I will take on an epic 35 marathons in 35 days!
My efforts are for a very worthy cause;
The Brathay Trust - Brathay's purpose is to inspire young people to become successful, confident and responsible citizens who transform the communities in which they live. It is a charity that really helps children and young people fulfil their potential.
Since 1946 Brathay has inspired young people to make positive contibutions to society.
Influenced by reasearch, evaluation and the opinions of young people, their integrated community and residential programmes ensure young people flourish and have the resilience to overcome challenges in their day-to-day lives.
Please support and thanks for your donations!
