Rileys cancelled Easter this year! And because February is 'Heart Month'... we are all chocolate free this month too!

Isabella has always benefited from Children's heart Surgery while both in hospital & out.
She has Played with toys/watched a TV, funded by CHSF
We have stayed in accommodation (eckersley house & brotherton wing) funded by CHSF.All of which have always helped make the whole experience of hospital, under the circumstances, less stressful/easier.
Isabella will have used equipment and machines in & out of theatre all provided/funded by CHSF.

Wehave made some of the best memories thanks to CHSF; which include the Christmas parties and the amazing flight with Santa that we were lucky enough to be a part of. Their Christmas parties are fab!

We are forever grateful to every single person involved within Isabella’s care from Leeds. ‘Thank you’ never seems enough... And now Riley wants to do something to say 'Thank you!'. He mentioned to me the other day about doing something for Isabella's hospital & I suggested a Chocolate free month... I was a little shocked that he didn't even hesitate in saying 'ok! People will raise lots of money if a kid stops eating chocolate for a whole month won't they Mum!' 😂
Riley had also decided that (his words) 'helping poorly Children in Isabella's heart hospital' is more important than 'us having a load of Easter eggs at Easter'
So we are not having Easter in our house this year either. Instead we are asking all our friends and family who give the Kids eggs/Chocolate for Easter to donate to his just giving page instead.
I'm so proud of him for saying he wanted to something, I know he will be so happy & proud of himself when pennies start going on his page. Because, 'it's a big deal kids not haven't Chocolate at Easter isn't it!' ❤
