My sons school are having a non uniform day for children and need and are asking children to donate £1 from their own money. I was explaining this to my son and he came out with a line that made me so incredibly proud, Mum, can i give all my pocket money to the charity as toys are not important family and looking after people are. 

He then said about another ways he could raise money. 

And he came up with a 3 hour silence.

To some this may not seem long, but Riley has had a very difficult time through lockdown (as i know many children have) he has additional needs and lockdown was very hard for him to understand. 

He is 8 years old and a bundle of energy, he talks non stop. So a 3 hour silence will be a huge challenge for him. But he is determined and i truly believe he can do it. 

He currently has Covid and so is isolating, this means he can do his silence at home 😀
