Story

On 29th October 2019, our baby boy, Krish, burst into our lives without much warning at 27 weeks gestation, weighing just 600gms/1.5 pounds!! We were in shock and feared the worst, but the amazing doctors and nurses at UCLH took incredible care of our little boy and provided us with emotional support. We spent the following 3+ months in the neonatal unit at UCLH, and then at the Royal Free Hospital on an emotional rollercoaster watching him grow, learn to breathe on his own, learn to feed without a tube and go through numerous pricks and checks due to his prematurity. We were overwhelmed by the NICU staff's kindness and the excellent care level the UCL hospital and the NHS provided us.

Krish still has some catching up to do but is otherwise a happy and healthy boy, and we could not be more grateful!

We want to celebrate the miraculous gift of our son, Krish, by fundraising for the UCLH neonatal unit charity, Early Lives. It would mean the world to many parents and babies and us if you consider donating.
