Recent events have made me grateful for my health, a thing we all take for granted from time to time.  I have thought about how life can be a challenge for us, day by day we worry about getting through things.  I realise that this is so much harder for kids, those who struggle with cancer, illnesses, disability, poverty, neglect and abuse.  How often have we taken doing homework with our kids for granted.  How drastically different life must be for these kids.

I am running the Great Manchester Run for Cash for Kids, because I really believe in the fantastic work the people at Cash for Kids do.  They are the real magicians in this.  They put the smiles on the children's faces and give them hope and strength to look to the future.
