Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. To find out why I have created this please read Brandon's story..

Brandon was a kind, funny, beautiful soul who had high ambition of becoming a doctor. He was dearly loved by many, especially by his parents and younger brother. Brandon was the life and soul of his family home and you couldn't help but smile when he was around. He had a great love for wwe wrestling and would spend most of his evenings watching raw and smackdown with his family, he would say his all time favourite wrestler was The Undertaker. Brandon also had a passion for football, he would often play in the park during the summer with his friends, his second love after wrestling was Manchester United.

It was towards the end of April 2015 when things changed for Brandon. He was no longer the fun, loving character everyone known and loved, brandon become very withdrawn from every day life including distancing himself from his nearest and dearest, and as his parents this was very difficult to see. Brandon would often say he didn't want to attend school due a handful of children who would make his school experience difficult. This continued for many, many months. As parents we did everything we could within our power to help and support Brandon. The hurt and anger which came from his unhappiness at school, Brandon took out on himself, and thus life rapidly spiralled out of controll. Brandon found it difficult to express how bad things had become at school and could no longer leave the house. Brandon tried on many of occasions to put an end to the misery he had to encounter at school by taking his own life.

August 2016 is when our lives changed forever. Our precious little boy was no longer with us. He had been planning this for sometime and finally took it upon himself to end all the misery and hurt one final time. At the tender age of 15, Brandon had taken his own life.

The reason why we have created this page is to raise awareness of teen bullying and the lack of support and resources which is given to these young children. We have had to learn the hard way and will have to live without our little boy for the rest of our lives. For anyone reading this, please encourage your children to talk about their problems, big or small. The Diana award is a charity who help many young victims and families who have had to deal with the consequences of bullying and the lack of support shown by schools and outside services.

Please find it in your hearts to donate to this amazing charity, whether it be a big or small donation, every penny raised will help a victim of bullying, save a child's life, or support a grieving family.

Thank you for your support
