The Flying Seagull Project is operated by a group of young actors, artists, musicians and the enthusiastic determined to make a difference. We travel across Romania visiting disadvantaged children, the elderly, adults with difficulties, and marginalised groups of society. Using our skills and training, we organise workshops and shows designed to help childhood development, improve emotional well being and give support through having a laugh.

“Fun therapy” is the concept; it’s not scientific, nor a new fangled medical term, it simply means that we have fun and afterwards, everyone feels better. Kids get a chance to be kids, those with disability can discover new ways to communicate and express them selves, which they might not get to do too often, and most importantly everyone has a good time. http://FlyingSeagull.co.uk

This page has been set up for those who would like to donate to the cause, even if you couldn't make it to our annual fundraiser Rise'N'Shine which this year raised more than £3000.

Anyone who's been to Rise N shine will vouch, this is the funniest event of the year, with high quality music and entertainment throughout the day. This year's line up included renowned artists from around the world.
