The Rise Together Walk 2023 · 18 March 2023

Rising Girl is a charity that’s empowering and inspiring girls globally by providing educational opportunities to break the cycles of poverty and build brighter futures. EMPOWERING, THROUGH EDUCATING GIRLS GLOBALLY Poverty. Body Image. Violence. Girls face many barriers to education both in the UK and overseas. The charity helps girls in the UK in schools aged 11-18 to overcome series abuse directly or indirectly through the Rise Together programme which is in partnership with Barnardos. The charity also has a ground-breaking gender equality programme in Pakistan that helps to empower female university students to become financially empowered. This is especially important as Pakistan was ranked third worst in the world on the global gender equality index.
