The Rissington School: Supporting the COVID-19 Rapid Response Appeal

Rissington Kids for the NHS · 2 April 2020
At a time when the world is feeling a little bleak, the year 1 and 2 children of The Rissington School, in Gloucestershire, have an important and uplifting message for fellow kids and grown-ups all around the world... #stayathome #wearetheworld
We have come together to sing this song for all the nurses, doctors and NHS key workers and we are fundraising in support of Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity's COVID-19 Rapid Response Appeal to make a difference for our local NHS staff & teams.
Support of our appeal will make a direct difference for NHS staff as they work to provide the best possible care for patients across hospital wards and areas at this time.
By making a donation today you can help fund a number of projects including:
• Boost boxes to give refreshment for teams as they work intensively to care for patients
• Wellbeing resources to help NHS staff alleviate stress while working under constant pressure
• Establishing fully equipped Staff Sleep Pods as places for staff to take a break during periods of intensive work, and ensure they are not too tired to drive home.
• Fold-out beds to help staff rest and recuperate
• The provision of alternative transport to work such as taxi or a minibus if public transport is not available.
We hope you enjoy our song. If you did, please would you consider giving just £1 (or more if you want!)? So we can help those who are working so hard to keep us all safe! Thank you!
