Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.I made it all the way to Santiago De Compostela ( about 90 miles ) much of it in wind and rain. The sun however shone as we walked wearily into the Cathedral Square and our tiredness melted away as we raised our eyes to the soaring towers of one of the most splendid  buildings in Europe. I knew then that it had all been worth it.I dedicated this walk to my late brother Father Hughwho died from cancer earlier this year. Hugh was a great supporter of a small charity "Cenacolo" which gives help and support to young people who are and have suffered from some form of addiction. It aims  help them to lead independent lives and to acquire skills and self esteem. It has a remarkable success rate. Over several years Hugh had supported 'Cenacolo' and thought very highly of its work.They are hoping to convert a barn into workshops and need money urgently to re-roof and make the building watertight.
