Ian retired after 40 years as Head Ghillie on the Brae Water beats of the River Spey in September last year. He now wants to raise money for the two charities closest to his heart- Prostate Cancer from which his father died and The Atlantic Salmon Trust.
Over the next four years he intends to fish all the salmon rivers in Scotland and to write reviews of his experience which will be recorded on www.riverbagger.com.
