Stretch for June , 30 June 2022
United Against Homelessness - Our special charity partnership will bring hope and a future to many people, especially at this time of ever increasing homelessness and the challenges associated with it.

Story

On 29th June 2022, myself, my colleagues from Riverside, other housing partnerships, local Wigan council employees AND some of those who live with us are all uniting together to cycle the equivalent miles of Lands End to John O'Grouts in just 12 hours.

The money raised will help people who have been homeless to find a sense of self and purpose and to establish a home of their own. It will provide homeless individuals with funding for the specific support they need to get back on their feet.

This may be for training and education, personal development, clothes or furniture, or any other support for which no government funding is available. The raised funds will help a variety of people including vulnerable young people, ex-service personnel, people with disabilities, ex-offenders, people with addictions or mental health problems, people fleeing domestic abuse, young mothers and their children, and people who have lost their homes through debt, illness or the breakdown of a relationship.

By donating /raising awareness, you are contributing to rebuild and change someone's life for the better, thank you.  ✌🏻
