We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

A group of intrepid adventurers from R K Wholesale will be setting off to walk the length of the Gritstone Trail in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.

The mission is to complete the trail in just one day! This walk is usually attempted as a 3-day event.

The Gritstone Trail stretches an incredible 35 miles, straddling the western edge of the Peak District and includes a whopping 1,608m (5,276ft) ascent over the course of its length.

This is going to take serious determination and grit. There will be sweat, there may be blood, there will definitely be blisters and I suspect we may see some tears! With your support, you can help to motivate and keep the teams going when they do inevitably reach that point where they feel they can go no further.

Some of the clan are walking as much as they can, whilst others are opting to attempt the entire trail. We also have some contributing in a support role keeping the team fed and watered and helping out with the logistics.

This really is a team effort and all contributions to our chosen charity will be most welcomed.

Thanks for taking the time to read our story.
