Story

PETERBOROUGH THRILL SEEKERS JUMP INTO ACTION FOR RNID

Three caring charity champions from Peterborough are set to reach lofty heights in their fundraising efforts, when they jump into action from 10,000 feet to help raise vital funds for hearing loss and hearing health charity RNID.

Fearless fundraisers Emma Marriott, Rachel Timson and Filippo Pasqualino, who all work for RNID ‘s Information Line in Peterborough, are hoping that their adrenaline-boosting skydive on Saturday 17 July will raise over £1,200 for the charity.

The team decided to undertake their daring dive after seeing firsthand the fantastic work that RNID do for deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK. As the first point of contact for members of the public for the charity they decided that they would like to go further and directly help those the charity supports everyday.

Emma Marriott, said: ”We are leaping into action to help RNID work towards finding solutions for hearing loss and providing services for deaf and hard of hearing people. We are all looking forward to the challenge of a breath-taking skydiving experience and are hoping to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause!”
