Story
Members of the RNLI Croydon fundraising Branch are taking on a step challenge this May to support the RNLI Thames Appeal. Taking on as many laps of Bingham Park as possible in 3 hours, Stephen hopes to raise as much as possible to support the new lifeboat station build at Tower on the River Thames. Look out for us on 3rd May in wellies as he takes on his challenge for Tower!
Every pound and penny raised on this fundraising page will go towards building the new lifeboat station. The current station is old, cramped and no longer fit for purpose. It lacks proper facilities, and the structure is beyond economical repair, and there is no privacy for vulnerable casualties.
We urgently need your help to fund this purpose-built lifeboat station at Tower to carry on our lifesaving mission. We don't receive government funding so are really counting on your support to help meet the £5M total cost of this project. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. Its a chance for you to be part of an enduring London landmark something really special.
You'll be part of the RNLI crew and your donation will help save lives in the capital for decades to come.
Thank you for your support
