This year has been horrendous for us all, in more ways than one. I could write pages about everything which has gone wrong but I want to try and remain positive and look forward to a fresh start in 2021.

I came across this challenge and I thought why not. I want to test myself again after 18 months without running and I want to end the year on a high. I aim to run in different locations and with different people. If you want to join me let me know!

I work at the Dorothy Parkes Centre in Smethwick and I have seen first hand how COVID-19, the temporary closures and restrictions have had a negative impact on staff, volunteers, centre users and our local community. I would like to raise some funds so that we can host a big party for our local community once it is safe to do so.
