In September 2013 a car accident left me paralysed from the neck down and dependent on a ventilator to breathe. Whilst in hospital I met SpecialEffect who showed me that through technology I could have some independence – this seemed totally incredible. Through them I felt able to apply to university within a year and have gone on to study law as well as be offered a place with a commercial law firm in Bristol. 

None of this would have been possible without first meeting SpecialEffect – their work really is that important.
