Rugby players are a tough bunch, they'll change anywhere and see the bit between playing and the bar as an unavoidable inconvenience. I'm not doing this for them or me. I've played Rugby at Horsham for 28 years and the old breeze block changing rooms have many familiar and nostalgic memories. The fact is It's 2015 and we have a duty to provide modern facilities where we can meet the requirements needed for youngsters, men and women to play and change at the same time. We have over 300 young players at the club, a thriving girls team and a growing mixed Touch Rugby Team. We need facilities to encourage and allow these people and visitors to share equally what we have and allow the club to better represent the community it serves. Rugby has been a huge part of my life to date and hopefully long into the future as I hope to give the youngsters I coach the opportunity to get some, all or more than I did from the game.
