Ever thought about scaling the heights of the great Mount Everest, well why not try it from the comfort of your own home this May?! Take on this epic challenge during isolation, conquer within 12 weeks and earn your medal!

Story

Base camp Everest with two dodgy knees, one aching hip and torn tendons in an elbow is leaking out of the bucket list  - so this challenge of walking up 8,848m vertical, the equivalent of Everest summit this will have to be my Everest [for now!].  The challenge should be completed in 12 weeks but I'm doing it in the next 8 weeks!

Now for the maths - for those of you that know my very steep back garden, it is 19m in vertical height and 70m up the slope from the bottom back to the top, so to achieve 8,848m to the top of my Everest, I need to walk from the bottom to the top 465 times, which will be a total round trip of 65KM!

Closest for the foreseeable future instead of getting into the Himalayas, and for an awesome cause, that should continue to be a debt of gratitude from this country to the Gurkha's and Nepal.

Any support you give towards this epic challenge is hugely appreciated, and will go towards supporting Gurkha veterans, their families and wider communities in Nepal, ensuring they are able to live their lives with dignity through the provisions of financial, medical and community aid.

For 200. Years they fought for us, now we fight for them.
