Anyone who has met people from the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance will know what humbling remarkable people they are, that do an amazing job every day, all days. Those that don't, if you look them up (www.ehaat.org), you will see that they save lives every day.

I will take part in the trek in the artic circle in Finland over a 5 day period where we will be snow-shoeing to a remote overnight cabin, cross country skiing and husky sledding, staying in a traditional log cabin in the woods, and hopefully seeing the incredible night skies.

I just need to be fit enough to cope with the physical side and hopefully keep warm enough in the artic temperatures.
