Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

James and I will be running the Birmingham Half Marathon in memory of our friend's Juliette and Matt Gaunt's little boy Benjamin, was sadly born sleeping on 26 November 2012.

Juliette and Matt, and other parents who, like them, have suffered such an incomprehensible loss, have been supported by The Lily Mae Foundation.

The Lily Mae Foundation was set up in July 2010 and is determined to change public perception of stillbirth and neonatal death.  Despite its frequency, there is little public perception of the frequency  of stillbirth and neonatal death.  There has also historically been a lack of funding for research into stillbirth and neonatal death.

The Lily Mae Foundation helps and supports parents and families that have been affected by the death of a baby.

Please help to support the fantastic and vital work of The Lily Mae Foundation as well as honour the memory of Benjamin by sponsoring our run.
