Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I will be tackling Chris Spin again, but this time I want to do more than just survive the ride.

Chris Spin was set up in memory of Chris Martindale, a man I never knew but was very close to my good friend Gareth. After being invited on the ride last year, I had a great time and want to head back in 2017 and say thanks for the great event in memory of someone who loved cycling and more importantly, try to help raise some funds to seek a cure.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with 130 men diagnosed every day. By doing this ride I hope I can help raise awareness of this disease and do something to help support organisations seeking to improve the prospects of those diagnosed and facing this illness.
