Thanks so much for all of the donations so far! It was a massive motivator to get me through the race on Saturday. After a grueling 17 hours of nearly 40 degree heat (as per thermometers at the pit stops!) with no shade, lots of hills, getting a bit lost and drinking so much water I felt ill, I completed the Race to the Stones! The money raised so far will make a huge difference to the Fountain Centre. Thanks once again to all who donated, I'll be contacting those who sent £25 or more about their pictures.

I'm going to be running a 100km race on July 13th in honour of a friend, Hayley Hazelby, who recently lost her fight with cancer. I'm aiming to run this in one session to make it as challenging as possible. Hoping to achieve this in about 15 hours.

I've chosen the Fountain Centre as the nominated charity, as I know that the aid and support they provided really helped her through her battle with cancer.

Anyone donating £25 or over before the race will get a sketch/drawing of your choice (but my style!) or photo (a la Movember) for your generosity. You choose which one and I'll complete after the event. Just e-mail or facebook what you want.
