Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie are calling on the nation to get down to the pool for Swimathon 2020 - thousands of swimmers, two great causes, one big charity challenge.

Story

I've been piling on the pounds during lockdown, so I've decided to do a bit of swimming and raise money for Marie Curie as well. In order to keep me motivated I am going to imagine I am swimming West along the Thames from Tower Bridge, so hopefully each time I swim I will have covered the same distance as to the next bridge on the Thames. I'll post my progress on Facebook, but just to clarify I am not actually swimming the Thames - just in my local pool!
