We raise money for Testicular Cancer to improve awareness and save lives!

Story

In August 2021 I was sadly diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. Fortunately, my prognosis is very good and I’ve had surgery to remove the affected area and I’m continuing to receive treatment. I’m keen, alongside the other boys at Hammersmith and Fulham RFC, to spread awareness of the disease as far as we can so that others can catch it early too. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men between 14-44 years old, with 6 people being diagnosed every hour.

The Oddballs Foundation was founded in 2016 with the aim of raising Testicular Cancer awareness and they have now partnered with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to promote awareness of Cervical Cancer. As a rugby club of young adults, we are in a prime position to spread the message of the Oddballs Foundation, not only by raising money for them but also educating each other about the early signs of cancer.

So, this month we will all be putting the razors down to grow a dirty mo in the name of Oddballs. Any donation is hugely appreciated!
