Anyone who has relatives or friends who suffer from this insidious illness know how awful it can be. Watching people slowly having their memories and personality stripped away is heartbreaking. The Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever, striving to find a cure. Until then, they aim to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
