Hayden, Ethan and I will be taking on a 25 mile cycling event to raise funds for their scouts group.

We're doing this for 2 reasons...

1st - The scouts is a very unique organisation that creates huge value in the life of young people - giving them amazing experiences like kayaking, shooting, team building, camping, abseiling, caving, hiking, fire building - and they do this consistently every week.

2nd - The subs that parents pay every term just about covers the insurance, with a little left over for petty cash. That means when it comes to maintaining the headquarter, buying camping or canoeing equipment, or subsidising activities - funding has to come from other sources.
